Location: Baltimore, MD
Position Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Position Description / Required Skills: experienced systems integrator / lab administrators with experience across Linux, Unix, and Windows. Experience with virtualization technologies, Solaris 10 UNIX RedHat Linux EN4 EN5 VMware Centrify DirectControl Vintela VAS
Additional experience with RedHat Linux EN4 & EN5 and/or Solaris 8 & 10 desired.
Knowledge of server virtualization technologies desired.
Knowledge of Centrify DirectControl or Vintela VAS, and VMware desired.
Knowledge of advanced application server configuration including performance tuning, clustering, etc.
Basic knowledge of relational databases desired (Sybase, MySQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL).
Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (SNMP, TCP/IP, ftp, NFS/Samba, etc.)
Experience with Symantec/McAfee Antivirus
Must be flexible, able to work on multiple projects at once and operate in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Good communication skills and trouble shooting skills also required.
