Job Description:
DI has an immediate need for a Senior System Architect/Engineer to work at our West Conshohocken, PA customer facility. In this position, you will be responsible for providing system architecture and engineering support to the GCCS-I3 program, and directly to the GCCS-I3 Lead Engineer. Your duties will include researching current and future technologies to advise on GCCS-I3 future architecture decisions, and be able to brief government agencies (including DISA, DIA, JDISS) on technical aspects of GCCS-I3. Your duties will also include system architecture, design and development of prototypes, translation of functional requirements into technical requirements, peer reviews of design/code, and general assistance to developers with design, development, testing, delivery, and support.
The following are the Basic Qualifications for this position:
Candidates must be US Citizens who are eligible to obtain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance. A Bachelor Degree and a minimum of 8-11 years experience in design and architecture, as well as Java, JavaScript, JSP, XML/XSLT, JMS, J2EE, EJB, web service, and relational databases is required. Candidates must have extensive knowledge in software design and development concepts, practices, and procedures utilizing Java/Web/Web Service Technologies, and excellent personal interaction and communication skills. Semantic Web technologies (RDF/RDFS++/OWL-Lite), RESTful web services, and WebLogic is a plus. Experience with automated test frameworks and JUnit are also a plus.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Clearance Level:Ability to obtain and retain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
Travel Requirements:25% of time, to locations such as Washington, DC, and San Diego
